Code and Model Creators
Code and Model Creators are individuals or development teams who actively build and enhance the AIGEN network by contributing codebases, open libraries, agent frameworks, blockchain-compatible AI models, and domain-specific machine learning algorithms. These contributions are vital for evolving AIGEN’s technical foundation and broadening its capabilities.
In addition to contributing to the open-source commons, creators also have the opportunity to publish proprietary components—such as premium AI agents, custom tools, or private inference endpoints—which they can monetize through the AIGEN network. This dual opportunity structure incentivizes innovation while maintaining a strong public-good backbone.
Community Contributors
Community Contributors are participants who engage with the AIGEN ecosystem by offering domain knowledge, testing agents, providing feedback for model improvement (e.g., through Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback – RLHF), and even sharing anonymized personal data where appropriate. These contributions play a significant role in refining agent performance and maintaining human-aligned intelligence across the network.
In many cases, community contributors are compensated for their input and may provide specialized insight or evaluations to specific agents or service providers. They form a crucial layer of the ecosystem’s collaborative and participatory structure.
AI Agents
AI Agents in AIGEN are semi-autonomous digital actors designed to perform goal-driven tasks within a decentralized environment. These agents operate with varying degrees of independence, utilizing internal planning functions to determine how best to achieve objectives based on available data and environmental signals.
Unlike traditional agents built for centralized AI platforms like OpenAI, AIGEN’s agents are Web3-native and smart contract-capable. They come equipped with features such as:
Integrated crypto wallets for making transactions,
Toolsets for on-chain data access and analytics,
Communication protocols for multi-agent coordination,
And permissioned access to decentralized AI services.
These capabilities allow agents not only to interact fluidly within the AIGEN ecosystem, but also to bridge across other blockchain platforms and protocols.
AI Agents serve a dual role within the network: they are consumers of AI services and also service providers themselves, offering intelligent automation, decision-making, or computational labor on behalf of other users or agents.
